That is why we have created Jolley´s Travel World safety and hygiene concept based on the standards of renowned institutions as well as the locally applicable guidelines and guidelines of the Egyptian health department.

Due to the requested negative corona test upon entry, everyone can feel safe and travel together as friends.
You should plan a little more time at the airport because the security precautions could lead to queues, please keep your safe distance. You can avoid these queues with a few tricks: Most airlines offer online check-in or contactless machine check-in. You can use the self-service counters to check in your luggage. Please observe the safety rules and health precautions of the selected airlines.

Your guide and driver will be waiting for you at the exit of the airport. Of course, they adhere to the prescribed health prevention regulations of the Ministry of Health and have previously tested negative for Corona.

On the part of the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism, for health prevention purposes, all tourist activities should be utilized with maximum utilization of 50% of the total capacity.

The magic words distance, hygiene, and fresh air inspire the tour of discovery. We choose appropriately large vehicles for the transfer so that the minimum distance can be maintained.

Before every journey, the vehicles are thoroughly cleaned and disinfected, especially the handles, headboards, armrests, seats, and belts. Disinfectants and hand sanitizers are provided. Guests and guides must always wear a face mask while driving. This measure serves the safety and health of all travellers. We, therefore, ask for your understanding that no exceptions can be made (not even if you present a medical certificate). A constant supply of fresh air is provided during the journey.

Accommodation – Hotels & Ships – finest selection

We design our Egypt tours with the best selection of Nile ships and hotels. With Jolley´s Travel World you are on an individual journey because we avoid hotspots and big blocks of mass tourism.
All ships, hotels & resorts also only have a maximum occupancy of 50% with an extensive hygiene concept and a certificate from the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism and Health.
Check-in / check-out is contactless if possible. Your luggage will be disinfected upon arrival and a contactless temperature measurement will take place upon entering the hotel & resort.
Sufficient hand disinfectant dispensers are available in public areas.
The hotel employees wear mouth and nose covers and are trained in dealing with the hygiene regulations for Covid-19.
Don’t worry, a welcome drink and a warm welcome are always part of Egyptian hospitality.

Our hotel partners mostly forego meals in the form of a buffet – service – now also at the buffet, if necessary.
Mostly there is the à la carte service at the table in the restaurants and hotels, where we enjoy our stay and let ourselves be pampered. Generous distances are maintained between the individual tables in the corresponding rooms (at least 1.50 meters).

As a further option, some hotels also offer breakfast in the room.

Cleanliness was a matter of course even before Corona.
If available, tablecloths are exchanged after each guest. Salt and pepper shakers and menus are disinfected after each guest.
Besides, to prevent Covid-19, the bedrooms and suites are now being fully disinfected with special room disinfection devices and detailed surface disinfection. This takes place several times a day in public common areas.

The pool and beach areas also provide a 1.5-meter safety distance. Entertainment activities are usually possible if the minimum distance of 1.50 meters is observed, provided that there are no restrictions due to local regulations.

Due to Covid-19 health prevention, there are maybe changes in activities and services (table service, buffet service). Together with our hotel and ship partners, we do everything to ensure that your stay is as most pleasant at all.

Excursions, sights, and sightseeing – discover Egypt active and safe

Dine with pleasure on tour! On our itinerary are small, typical restaurants where you don’t have to queue at the buffet. Right now we are taking a closer look at the culinary choice with our Corona magnifying glass. We usually reserve tables outside, because fresh air and a view of nature increase enjoyment and ensure the best protection against infection. The lunch snack in the oriental bazaar may be omitted, but replaced by a fantastic view of the Nile or the roof terrace with culinary table menus.
Our team and the Egyptian Ministry of Tourism give the greatest possible care so that your individual Egypt trip and sightseeing are safe to step by step. Carefree we discover the world cultural heritage sites together, as these mostly resemble an open-air museum. Indoor events and museums are subject to clear guidelines:

• Visits to museums and archaeological sites only in small groups of up to 25 people
• Floors and public areas are disinfected before opening times
• Tour guides and visitors must wear a face mask
• Tour guides are only allowed to use audio devices indoors, earpieces are sterilized after each use
• The temperature of the employees is checked daily
• before entry, there is always a contactless temperature measurement
• The minimum distance of 1.5 meters must always be observed
• a maximum number of visitors to museums and archaeological sites:
• Museums 100 visitors per hour (Egyptian National Museum Tahir Square 200 visitors per hour)
• depending on the size: 10-15 visitors per tomb/pyramid
