How can I book the trip I want?

Can I book a higher room or cabin category?

We would be happy to ask the hotel & resort or Nile ship your desired category and inform you about the corresponding surcharge.

What should you do if the confirmation is incorrect?

How can I pay for my trip?

Invoice: Please only use the booking number given on your invoice. You can conveniently transfer via bank transfer to our specified account.
PayPal: We will send you the link to our PayPal account. Please note that the 3% PayPal fees are added to the invoice amount.
Credit card via PayPal: You can conveniently pay by credit card via our PayPal account. We pass on the PayPal fees.

When I have to pay the tour price?

After receiving the booking confirmation, we kindly ask you to transfer the deposit amount. After receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation – please note our terms and conditions.

When your booking gets confirmed  with the availability your requested travel time, you have usually to pay a deposit to keep the reservation. The amount of the deposit is calculated based on the total price and is shown on the booking confirmation.

There are also special offers – deals that are non-refundable and therefore payable immediately.

If you book a trip within 40 days of departure, the full amount is always due immediately.
In the case of an early booking, which is significantly earlier than 40 days before arrival, you only pay the deposit amount and the remaining amount 5 weeks before the start of the journey.

Please note: In case of Last-minute booking or hot deals will be the travel price  “non-refundable”. You are kindly requested to pay the full travel price immediately.

When will I receive my travel documents?

After receiving the booking confirmation, we ask you to transfer the deposit amount. After receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation – please note our terms and conditions.

After booking your trip, you will receive an email with your booking documents. You should read this e-mail carefully. If you see a discrepancy, please contact us immediately. Delays and possible changes could then result in costs.

After receipt of full payment, we will send you the travel voucher no later than 14-10 days before arrival. These are valid as a voucher for all booked services. You will receive a voucher for your hotel / accommodation as an attachment to the e-mail, which you must print out, take with you on your trip and hand over to reception upon check-in.

We generally do not send tickets or vouchers by post. If you have problems printing tickets / vouchers, please check your printer settings. To print a PDF you must have installed a program that can read a PDF file, e.g. the Adobe Reader.

How do I pay in Egypt?

The national currency in Egypt is the EGP Egyptian pound.

We recommend that you always have some local currency cash on hand. It is advisable to change the currency after your arrival at the airport bank counters, exchange offices or a bank. This is particularly useful for giving small amounts or a tip.
However, you can also pay cash in the currencies €, US$, CHF. Hotels and the moste shops of course also offer payment with international credit cards.
At the ATMs you can withdraw cash at any time with your credit card (with PIN).
