How can I book the trip I want?

We look forward to your travel inquiry via our homepage and will contact you promptly.

We check availability for the travel time you want and send you our best offer. You can check this at your leisure and confirm this to us by e-mail or telephone. You will then receive a binding booking confirmation with the request to send us the signed confirmation. Only then does the binding contract come into existence.

Can I book a higher room or cabin category?

We are happy to ask at the hotel & Resort or Nile ship of your desired category and inform you about the corresponding surcharge.

What to do if the booking confirmation is incorrect?

If you notice an error in your booking confirmation, please contact us as soon as possible by telephone or e-mail so that it can be corrected immediately.
Please note: Delays may result in additional costs.

How can I pay for my trip?

Invoice: Please only use the booking number given on your invoice. You can conveniently transfer to our specified account by bank transfer.
PayPal: We will send you the link to our PayPal account. Please note that the 3% PayPal fees are added to the invoice amount.
Credit card via PayPal: You can conveniently pay by credit card via our PayPal account. We pass on the PayPal fees.

When do I pay for my trip?

After receipt of the booking confirmation/invoice, we ask you to transfer the deposit amount according to the amount shown. After receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation – please note our AGB.

When booking your trip, you usually have to pay a deposit. The amount of the deposit is calculated based on the total price and is shown on the booking confirmation.

There are also special offers – deals that are non-refundable and therefore due for payment immediately.

If you book a trip within 40 days before departure, the total amount is always due immediately.
If you book early, much earlier than 40 days before arrival, you only pay the down payment and the remaining amount 6 weeks before the start of the trip.

Please note: Short-term travel bookings or last-minute bookings are due for payment in full immediately.

When will I receive my travel documents?

After receiving the booking confirmation, we ask you to transfer the deposit amount. After receipt of payment you will receive a confirmation – please note our AGB.

After booking your trip, you will receive an email with your booking documents. You should read this email carefully. If you see a discrepancy, please contact us immediately. Delays and possible changes could otherwise cause costs.

After full payment has been received, we will send you the travel voucher no later than 14-10 days before arrival. These are valid as a voucher for all booked services. As an attachment to the e-mail you will receive a voucher for your hotel/accommodation, which you must print out, take with you on your trip and hand over to reception when you check in.

We generally do not send tickets or vouchers by post. If you have problems printing tickets/vouchers, please check your printer settings. To print out a PDF, you must have installed a program that can read a PDF file, e.g. Adobe Reader.

How do I pay in Egypt?

The national currency in Egypt is the EGP Egyptian Pound.

We recommend that you always have some local currency cash on hand. It is advisable to exchange currency after your arrival at the airport bank counter, exchange offices or a bank. This is particularly recommended for giving small amounts or a tip.
However, you can also pay in cash in €, $, CHF. Of course, hotels and many large shops also accept international credit cards. You can withdraw cash at any time using your credit card (with PIN) at the ATMs.
